Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2026 • Last Updated: August 25, 2026

Welcome to Viddeo ("we", "us", "our", or "Viddeo"). We provide an artificial intelligence-powered mobile application (the "App") and related web surfaces accessible at viddeoai.com (the "Website"), collectively referred to as the "Services".

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, disclose, and protect your information when you interact with our Services, as well as your rights and choices regarding your data.

By accessing or using Viddeo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not download, install, access, or use our Services.

1. Important Summary & Our Privacy Philosophy

  • Anonymous by Design: Viddeo does not require you to provide a legal name, email address, password, or physical address to use core AI video generation features.
  • Transient Media Processing: Photos, images, and prompts you submit for AI video generation are processed securely on encrypted cloud infrastructure and expired automatically.
  • No Selling of Personal Data: We do not sell your personal data, uploaded photos, or AI-generated videos to third parties or data brokers.
  • No Unauthorized Model Training: We do not use your private uploaded personal photos to train public foundational AI models without your explicit consent.
  • Secure Mobile Payments: All in-app subscriptions and virtual coin purchases are processed directly through your mobile platform’s official app store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We never collect, process, or store your credit card or financial billing details.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three categories: information you provide directly, information collected automatically through app and website usage, and transaction confirmations received from your mobile app store.

A. Information You Provide to Us

  1. User Content & Media Uploads:
    • Photos & Images: Photos or images you choose from your device’s photo library or capture with your camera to use with image-to-video features, templates, or visual effect transformations.
    • Text Prompts & Generation Settings: Custom text descriptions, style presets, duration selections, aspect ratios, and template choices you configure for video creation.
  2. Customer Support Communications:

When you contact support at support@viddeoai.com, we collect your email address, message contents, and public user identifier to resolve your inquiry.

B. Facial Imagery & Media Processing Notice

When you upload a photograph containing a human face for an AI generation template:

  • Purpose: The image is analyzed algorithmically solely to detect facial alignment, landmarks, and visual features necessary to apply the chosen visual transformation or animate the subject in the output video.
  • No Biometric Identification: We do not create or store biometric templates, faceprints, or facial recognition profiles for individual identification, surveillance, or authentication.
  • Storage & Processing: Media is transmitted via secure, encrypted channels to cloud computing infrastructure solely to generate the requested video.
  • Retention: Uploaded source images are retained transiently for the duration required to complete the generation and caching pipeline, after which they are automatically expired and purged.
  • No Commercial Exploitation: Facial imagery is never sold, leased, traded, or shared with third-party advertisers.

C. Information Collected Automatically on Mobile Devices

When you download, open, or use the Viddeo App, we automatically collect certain technical and usage diagnostics:

  1. Anonymous Account & Device Identifiers:

A randomly generated pseudonymous user identifier and installation identifier used to maintain your credit balance, active subscription status, and generation history across app sessions without requiring a password login. General device specifications (device model, operating system version, system language, timezone, and network status).

  2. Usage & Diagnostic Telemetry:

Non-identifiable event telemetry (e.g., templates viewed, generation requests initiated, features interacted with, and navigation patterns) to optimize app performance. Crash reports, error logs, and system performance metrics to diagnose technical malfunctions and maintain software stability.

  3. Push Notification Tokens:

If you grant push notification permissions in your device settings, we collect a device push token solely to alert you when your asynchronous video generations are ready or when account balances update.

  4. App Installation & Attribution Data:

Non-identifiable campaign parameters and platform installation tokens used to evaluate the reach and performance of our marketing campaigns, subject to your mobile device privacy and tracking settings.

D. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect government-issued ID numbers, physical street addresses, or phone numbers.
  • We do not collect precise GPS real-time location coordinates.
  • We do not collect or store credit card, debit card, or bank account information.

3. Cookie & Web Tracking Technologies Disclosure (Website)

When you visit, browse, or interact with our Website (viddeoai.com), we and our trusted service providers may collect certain information automatically through cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and similar web tracking technologies.

A. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies?

  • Cookies: Small text files placed on your computer or mobile device by a web server when you visit a webpage. Cookies help web pages load efficiently, maintain security, and remember user preferences.
  • Web Beacons / Pixels: Tiny transparent graphic images or scripts embedded in web pages that allow us to measure visitor traffic, page views, and interactions.
  • Local Storage & Session Tokens: Browser-based storage mechanisms used to maintain temporary site state and security tokens across pages.

B. Categories of Cookies We Use on the Website

We categorize the cookies and tracking mechanisms used on our Website into the following functional purposes:

Cookie Category Purpose & Description Essential / Optional
Strictly Necessary / Essential Critical for the basic operation, security, and integrity of the Website. These cookies enable core functionality such as page navigation, network load balancing, DDoS mitigation, and server security. The Website cannot function properly without these technologies. Essential (Cannot be disabled)
Performance & Analytics Collect aggregated, anonymous information about how visitors navigate the Website (e.g., which pages are visited most frequently, time spent per page, referral URLs, and page load errors). This helps us evaluate traffic, troubleshoot technical bottlenecks, and improve site speed and usability. Optional
Functionality & Preferences Used to remember choices you make while browsing (such as your chosen display language, regional settings, or dark/light mode visual theme) to provide an enhanced and personalized browsing experience. Optional
Campaign & Download Attribution Measure the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives when visitors click on app store download buttons or promotional landing pages. These tracking tags help us understand which campaigns led to web visits and app installs without collecting personally identifiable information. Optional

C. Third-Party Analytics & Web Services

We may utilize privacy-conscious third-party web analytics and infrastructure providers to assist us in analyzing website traffic and ensuring rapid global content delivery. These providers may set their own cookies on your browser to perform their services on our behalf. These third parties are contractually prohibited from using your data for any independent commercial or profiling purpose.

D. How You Can Control and Manage Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences through the following methods:

  1. Browser Settings: Most modern web browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings menu. You can configure your browser to notify you when a cookie is set, or to block all or specific third-party cookies:
    • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Third-party cookies
    • Apple Safari (macOS & iOS): Settings > Safari > Advanced > Privacy / Block All Cookies
    • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
    • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data
  2. Mobile Device Controls: On your mobile device, you can adjust tracking permissions and reset advertising identifiers in your device operating system settings.
  3. Industry Opt-Out Platforms: You may also opt out of participating analytics and interest-based measurement networks via industry consumer choice portals:
    • Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA): optout.aboutads.info
    • Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): optout.networkadvertising.org
    • European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA): youronlinechoices.eu

Please note: If you choose to reject or disable strictly necessary cookies, certain sections or interactive features of the Website may not function properly.

E. "Do Not Track" (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signals

Some internet browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal that communicates to websites that you do not wish to have your online activity tracked. Because there is currently no universal industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, our Website does not alter its data collection practices upon encountering generic DNT signals; however, we honor legally recognized statutory signals like Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by applicable consumer privacy laws.
